Philadelphia Police Department Makes List Of Top 50 Departments On Social Media
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A website dedicated to helping students interested in public health has released its list of the most social media friendly police departments.
MPHProgramsList.com created a list of the police departments they feel are the best prepared to inform people through social media when necessary.
The website says staff evaluated the social media - including Facebook, Twitter and YouTube - presence of police departments in the 100 largest cities across the country and ranked the top 50 from best to good.
The Philadelphia Police Department came in at number 11 with over 53,000 likes on Facebook, over 18,000 followers on Twitter and more than 1.6 million views on YouTube.
