Haverford Bank Robbery Suspects Arrested In Philadelphia
HAVERFORD Twp., Pa., (CBS) – Officials say Philadelphia Police arrested two suspects wanted in connection with an armed bank robbery in Montgomery County Monday afternoon.
According to Lower Merion police, the incident happened at about 2 p.m.at the TD Bank in Haverford Township.
Police say the suspects, one displaying a handgun, allegedly took an undetermined amount of money and fled.
No one at the bank was hurt.
Philadelphia Police located the suspects and the vehicle in the area of I-76 and Spring Garden Street.
Officials say after a brief foot chase, two subjects were arrested. The suspects and vehicle were turned over to the Lower Merion Police Department.
It is not known if the stolen money has been recovered.
The suspects have not been identified at this time.
