Philadelphia Police Apprehend Escaped Prisoner
PHILADELHIA (CBS) - Philadelphia police have apprehended an escaped prisoner in Germantown Sunday evening.
Kevin Talley, 22, escaped from a Maryland prison after assaulting an officer Saturday night. According to police, Talley was wanted for attempted murder and he found refuge on the 4600 block of Wayne Avenue in Germantown.
At about 5:30 p.m., Philadelphia police as well as the Maryland State Police found Talley on the 100 block of W. Chelten Avenue in Germantown at a Popeye's Restaurant. He is in police custody and will be transported back to Maryland.
No injuries were reported.
