PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - It's a rainy, chilly morning, but the Phillies expect the rain will end in time for this afternoon's much-anticipated 2011 season opener at Citizens Bank Park.

A capacity crowd of more than 44,000 fans are expected to pack the ballpark, making Opening Day the Phils' 124th consecutive sellout. With the Phils boasting one of the most formidable starting rotations in history with the offseason re-acquisition of Cliff Lee, the expectations are high for Phillies fans this season.

All of the traditional pageantry and festivities are planned for today's opener, including a pregame parade of players in from center field, a flyover by four F-15 fighter jets, and the Navy Leapfrogs parachuting in the ceremonial first ball.
Phils ace Roy Halladay will take the mound against former Phil Brett Myers and the Houston Astros. The first pitch is scheduled for 1:09 p.m.
