Philadelphia Man Charged In Camden County Slaying
PINE HILL, N.J. (AP) — Felony murder charges have been filed against a Philadelphia man who allegedly broke into the southern New Jersey home of his estranged wife's boyfriend and fatally stabbed him.
Police captured 29-year-old Stefan Curry-Burkett near The Greens at Pine Hill apartment complex, where the attack occurred around 4:50 a.m. Monday.
Camden County prosecutors say Curry-Burkett got access to Michael Cogan's apartment by climbing onto a balcony and entering through a sliding glass door. Once inside, they say he assaulted the 26-year-old and stabbed him repeatedly.
Bail had not been set as of early Monday night, and it was not known if Curry-Burkett had retained an attorney. He was due to be arraigned Tuesday morning.
