Philadelphia Man Charged After Allegedly Pointing A Crossbow At Driver

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Philadelphia police arrest a man who, in a fit of road rage, allegedly pulled out a crossbow and pointed it at another driver.
Police say 44-year-old Kenneth Butterworth of Northeast Philadelphia pointed a crossbow at another driver twice Tuesday night.
It was 6:30 in the evening, police responded to Frankford and Knorr Streets. A driver told police when he was west on Harbison Avenue he saw Butterworth in a Dodge stratus, weaving in and out of traffic.
He told police he went to the right lane in front of Butterworth, who then pulled to the left of him and then allegedly pointed his crossbow at the driver.
The driver called 9-1-1, followed the Dodge to a grocery store parking lot, and that's where police say Butterworth pointed his crossbow at him again then fled.
Police later stopped Butterworth at 4000 Cottman Avenue, where he was identified. Officers who recovered his crossbow say it was loaded with one arrow.
Butterworth now faces Aggravated Assault, Simple assault and related charges.
