Philadelphia Fire Department Announces Passing Of Former Commissioner Harold Hairston
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Philadelphia Fire Department announced the passing of former Commissioner Harold B. Hairston on Tuesday night.
Hairston served as the commissioner for the department beginning in 1992 under Mayor Ed Rendell, until he retired in 2004.
The department stated that the circumstances surrounding Hairston's death were unknown.
