Philadelphia City Controller Introduces 'Watchdog' App To Report Government Fraud
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- If you see government fraud in Philadelphia, and want to report it, now there's an app for that.
The Philadelphia City Controller's office now has an iPhone or iPad app for citizens to report fraud. City Controller Alan Butkovitz says you can upload pictures or video of activity you want investigated.
"If they're short-dumping or illegal parking lots or city workers that are sleeping on the job or getting payoffs or anything of that sort, they'll be able to make use of the latest technology to communicate that to us."
And you can submit items anonymously, if you wish.
Butkovitz claims it's the first app out there to report fraud to a city government agency. It's free, search for 'Philly Watchdog' or CLICK HERE
