The holiday spirit will soon be in full swing in the Philadelphia region. Tree lightings, parades and other events will be happening through the holidays as people gather with friends and family.
Here's a list of upcoming tree lightings and parades to attend across the Philadelphia region, from Rittenhouse Square to the Shore.
Tree lightings in Pennsylvania
Manayunk
Nov. 14 at Canal View Park, 4418 Main Street
Manayunk will start the celebrations Thursday with a tree lighting and the debut of "Manayunk Gets Lit" on Main Street. Festivities start at 5:30 p.m. with live music and a real snow machine. Santa will arrive on a firetruck at 5:45 p.m. and the tree lighting is at 7 p.m. Businesses will unveil their holiday decorations – and turn on more than 80,000 lights – as part of the "Manayunk Gets Lit" contest.
Santa will have prizes for some of the most festive Eagles fans on Thursday night, too.
Quakertown
Nov. 23 in Downtown Quakertown
Quakertown Alive! is planning their annual Christmas Tree Lighting Festival for Nov. 23 from 4-7 p.m. There will be a live nativity, horse drawn carriage rides and train rides for children.
Doylestown
Nov. 29 in downtown Doylestown
Bucks County will host a Santa parade and tree lighting in Doylestown on Nov. 29 at 5 p.m.
Upper Chicester Township
Nov. 29 at Gibbons Park
Upper Chichester will kick off the holiday season in style with a Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on Nov. 29 at 6 p.m. There will also be festive musical performances by local artists.
Upland
Nov. 29 at Bristol Lord Field
Borough residents are invited to attend Upland's Annual Holiday Tree Lighting on Nov. 29 at 6 p.m. Refreshments will be served immediately following the tree lighting ceremony at the Pavilion in Bristol Lord Field.
Bristol Borough
Nov. 29 at Bristol Wharf
Bristol Borough will turn on the lights adorning its Christmas tree on Nov. 29 at 7:10 p.m. Admission is free.
Washington Crossing
Nov. 29 at Washington Crossing Park
The Kiwanis Club of Washington Crossing and Yardley is hosting its Annual Tree Lighting and Food Drive on Nov. 29 at 3 p.m. Before the tree lighting at 4:30 p.m. there will be hot chocolate and cookies served and a special visit by Santa.
South Philadelphia
Nov. 30 New Era Phillies Team Store at Citizens Bank Park
The Phillies are celebrating the holiday season with a Holiday Sale & Tree Lighting on Nov. 30 at 5 p.m. And that's not all, the team has a whole lot of baseball and holiday-themed activities scheduled before the big reveal including photos with Phanta Claus!
Malvern
Nov. 30 at Burke Park
Malvern will light up its Christmas tree following a day of fun, food and performances at Burke Park at dark on Nov. 30.
Folcroft Borough
Nov. 30 at the Folcroft Clock Tower
The Folcroft Library will host the Borough's Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on Nov. 30 from 6-8 p.m. The evening will also include crafts for kids, hot chocolate and treats and a visit from Mr. and Mrs. Claus.
Coopersburg
Nov. 30 at Coopersburg Town Center Park
The Coopersburg Fire Company and Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce will kick start the holiday season with a tree lighting on Nov. 30 from 6-8 p.m. There will also be craft vendors, pictures with Santa and a gingerbread decorating contest.
New Hope
Dec. 1 at the Logan Inn
New Hope will host its Annual Christmas Tree Lighting on Dec. 1 at 5 p.m. at the Logan Inn accompanied by hot chocolate, cookies and a grand arrival from Santa.
Northern Liberties
Dec. 3 outside Figo Ristorante
The Northern Liberties Business Improvement District invites everyone to usher in the holidays at its tree lighting on Dec. 3 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. The event will also include live music, refreshments vendors and a visit from Santa.
Ridley Township
Dec. 3 at the Ridley Township Municipal Building Grounds
Ridley Township will light its Christmas tree for the season with the help of Santa Claus on Dec. 3 at 7 p.m. Festivities kick off at 6:30 p.m. with live music, hot chocolate and snacks.
Brookhaven Borough
Dec. 3 at the Betty Kelly Memorial Walking Trail
Brookhaven invites everyone to come out to watch the 15th annual lighting of its tree on Dec. 8 at 6 p.m. After the lighting, Santa will be in the BMC gym for photos.
East Passyunk
Dec. 4 at The Singing Fountain
The East Passyunk Avenue Business Improvement District's annual tree lighting ceremony takes place Dec. 4 from 5-7 p.m.
Collegeville
Dec. 4 across from the Collegeville Diner
Collegeville is planning a festive family-friendly holiday evening featuring the tree lighting on Dec. 4 at 4:30 p.m. The fun commences with live music, a bouncy house and kids games at 4:15 p.m. Santa will then arrive on a fire truck to use his magic to light the 30-foot Christmas tree.
Old City
Dec. 4 at the Betsy Ross House
The Old City District will host its eighth-annual Historic Holidays Tree Lighting on Dec. 4 at the Betsy Ross House at 6 p.m. It features a variety of musical and dance performances including Settlement Music School, Philadelphia Dance Academy, Upper Darby Encore Singers, special guest speakers and an appearance from Santa.
City Hall
Dec. 5 outside City Hall
The annual tree lighting at City Hall is Dec. 5 at 7 p.m. The event will feature musical guest Keyshia Cole and other performers. The Christmas Village market will be open, too, if you need to get some shopping done after the festivities.
Media
Dec. 5 at Rose Tree Park
Delaware County will start to sparkle with the Festival of Lights tree lighting ceremony on Dec. 5 at 5 p.m. at Rose Tree Park in Media. This free event will feature holiday music from the Lake Middle School Select Choir, food trucks, a visit from Santa and more. There will be seasonal entertainment, food trucks and other programming on Dec. 7, 8, 14 and 15.
Langhorne
Dec. 6 at 102 W. Maple Ave.
The Langhorne Borough Business Association is hosting its 16th annual Dickens Night on Dec. 6 from 6-9 p.m. culminating with the lighting of the Christmas tree at 7:30 p.m.
Prospect Park
Dec. 6 at Park Square
Prospect Park will celebrate the holiday season with a tree lighting at Park Square on Dec. 6 at 7 p.m.
Roxborough
Dec 6. at Roxborough Pocket Park
Roxborough is celebrating the holidays with the return of its annual holiday celebration and tree lighting at Pocket Park on Ridge Avenue on Dec. 6 p.m. The celebration also includes a pop-up holiday market.
West Chester

Downtown West Chester will host a tree lighting on the courthouse steps followed by the Hometown Christmas Parade Dec. 6 at 6:30 p.m.
Phoenixville
Dec. 6 at Main and Bridge Street
Phoenixville will kick off the holiday season with its own tree lighting on Dec. 6 around 6:45 p.m.
Buckingham Township
Dec. 6 at Buckingham Township building
Buckingham Township will host a Christmas celebration featuring its tree lighting on Dec. 6 from 6-9 p.m. Hot chocolate, crafts and a sit with Santa are also scheduled.
Plumstead Township
Dec. 6 at Hanusey Park
Plumstead Township will host its Annual Tree Lighting on Dec. 6 at 7 p.m. Santa will be on hand to help light the tree.
Bristol Township
Dec. 7 on 2501 Bath Road
Bristol Township is inviting residents to its Holiday Tree Lighting on Dec. 7 from 6-8 p.m. The event will feature kid-friendly activities including cookies, hot cocoa and a visit from Santa.
Perkasie
Dec. 7 at the Town Center
America's Oldest Tree Lighting will take place in Perkasie on Dec. 7 from 5-8 p.m. Now in its 116th year, it was officially recognized as the oldest in the U.S. in 2015. This year families can expect holiday music, food and fun. One lucky child will also be selected to appear on stage with Santa to light the tree.
Aldan
Dec. 7 in front of Aldan Elementary School
The Aldan Boosters Civic Association will host the Aldan Tree Lighting Ceremony on Dec. 7 at 6:30 p.m. at the tree in front of Aldan Elementary School.
Havertown
Dec. 7 on Brookline Boulevard
Havertown will light up its tree for the season during the Havertown Holiday Festival on Dec. 7. The tree lighting will happen around 7 p.m. after a day of family-friendly activities focused on Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa and winter fun. The event costs $5 per person.
Yardley
Dec. 7 at Buttonwood Park
The Yardley Olde Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting will take place Dec. 7 at 3:30 p.m. It will include live music, a visit from Santa and more.
Levittown
Dec. 8 on Meetinghouse Square
Levittown invites all to come out to begin the holiday season with the annual community Christmas Tree Lighting on Dec. 8 at 6 p.m. on Meetinghouse Square.
East Lansdowne
Dec. 8 at Borough Hall
The Borough of East Lansdowne will flip the switch on its holiday tree on Dec. 8 at 6 p.m. in front of the Borough Hall.
Rittenhouse Square
Dec. 9 at Rittenhouse Square
Celebrations including the tree lighting will be from 6-8 p.m. on Dec. 9 in Rittenhouse Square.
Bensalem Township
Dec. 14 at the Bensalem Township Municipal Complex
Santa is coming to Bensalem to help with the Annual Tree Lighting on Dec. 14 at 5 p.m. Photo ops with the big man will also be available. Admittance is a non-perishable food item.
Sellersville
Dec. 14 on Main Street
Sellersville will celebrate the holiday season on Dec. 14 during Winterfest from 5-8 p.m. To end the borough's sesquicentennial year of celebration there will be a tree lighting and fireworks.
Tree lightings in New Jersey
Marlton
Nov. 16 at The Promenade at Sagemore
Turn on the holiday lights with The Promenade at Sagemore on Saturday, Nov. 16 from 3-6 p.m. The holiday tree lighting will take place in the center court of the shopping plaza. The event which benefits the Ronald McDonald House of Southern NJ will feature Santa, the Evesham Township fire department and police department, a petting zoo, the Cherokee High School choir and musical guests Luke Abruzzo and Ginger Coyle.
Haddonfield
Nov. 29 at Library Point
Haddonfield will kick off its celebrations Nov. 29 at 6 p.m. with a tree lighting at Library Point. The first night of Candlelight Shopping, when downtown stores will stay open until 8 p.m. or later, will follow. Mr. and Mrs. Claus will lead a parade to Kings Court and post for photos, too. Candlelight shopping runs on Fridays until Dec. 20.
Bordentown

Bordentown invites the community to come together to welcome in the holiday season with its annual Christmas Tree Lighting on Nov. 30 at 4:30 p.m.
Robbinsville
Dec. 3 at the municipal complex
Robbinsville will host a Christmas Tree and Menorah Lighting on Dec. 3 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the municipal complex. Before the lighting there will also be photos with Santa, hot chocolate and giveaways.
Cape May
Dec. 6 at Rotary Park
Cape May will light a tree and host a night of "old-fashioned family fun," including caroling and a visit from Santa on Dec. 6 at 7 p.m. at Rotary Park at 400 Lafayette Street.
Mount Holly

Mount Holly will host a tree lighting, parade, visit from Santa and train rides through town to help you get in the holiday spirit on Dec. 6 starting at 6 p.m.
Trenton
Dec. 6 at City Hall
Trenton will host its annual tree lighting ceremony Dec. 6 with festivities from 4:30-8 p.m. outside City Hall, 319 E. State Street.
Camden
Dec. 7 at Camden Waterfront
Camden will light a tree and celebrate the season on Dec. 7 from 4-8 p.m. at Camden Waterfront at 401 North Delaware Avenue.
Mount Laurel
Dec. 7 at The Shops at Rancocas Woods
Mount Laurel will host its Annual Tree Lighting on Dec. 7 from 5-8 p.m. at The Shops at Rancocas Woods. An array of free activities will also be provided including face painting, bounce houses, mechanical rides and more.

Dec. 7 at Reflections Park
Pemberton will host its Recreation Tree Lighting at Reflections Park on Dec. 7 at 6 p.m. There will also be refreshments, live music, giveaways and of course a visit from Santa.

The seaside city of Rehoboth Beach will light its 23-year-old evergreen on Nov. 29 around 6:30 p.m. The Cape Henlopen Holiday Band will begin the festivities at 6 p.m. followed by a sing-along with Clear Space Theatre.
Dewey Beach
Nov. 30 at Fifers
Dewey Beach will turn on the lights adorning its Christmas tree at Fifers on Nov. 30 at 8 p.m.
Dover
Dec. 5 at Loockerman Plaza
Dover will host its annual Capital Holiday Tree Lighting Celebration on Dec. 5 from 5-8 p.m. The event will feature dance and musical arrangements, a photo op with Santa, free grab-and-go holiday kids crafts, cookies and hot chocolate, and a grand tree lighting ceremony.
Harrington
Dec. 5 at Norman Barlow Pavilion
Harrington will kick start the holidays by flipping the switch on its Christmas Tree at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 5. Hot chocolate and cookies will be served.

Wilmington will ring in the season with a tree lighting Dec. 7 at 6:30 p.m. in Rodney Square. The night will feature a performance by cast members from Candlelight Dinner Theatre's "A Christmas Carol by Candlelight."
Bethany Beach
Dec. 7 at Bandstand
Bethany Beach will light up its tree with the SDSA Show Choir at 5 p.m. on Dec. 7. Leading up to the main event the day will be filled with pony rides, a party with Santa, face painters along with trolley, train and tractor rides downtown.
Lewes
Dec. 7 at Zwaanendael Park
Lewes plans to illuminate its Christmas Tree on Dec. 7 at 5 p.m. at Zwaanendael Park. Festivities begin earlier in the day with the city's annual Christmas Parade. This year's theme is "Celebrating an Old-Fashioned Christmas in Lewes."
