Philadelphia-Bound Plane Hits Truck At Logan Airport
BOSTON (CBS) – A US Airways flight from Boston to Philadelphia was cancelled after officials say the plane struck a deicing truck at Boston Logan International Airport Tuesday.
US Airways flight 740, an Embraer 190, struck a parked deicing truck with its left wing tip as the aircraft was taxiing to the deicing area at the airport.
US Airways says 99 passengers and four crew members were on board at the time.
No injuries were reported.
US Airways says the passengers will be rebooked on another flight.
