Philadelphia Arts In Education Partnership
We are celebrating a Star-Spangled Summer here at Eyewitness News. We want you to show your American pride by flying your flag!
Students in our area are showing their pride and letting their "Art Freedom Ring."
They designed Liberty Bells; the idea was to show how Philadelphia played a part in the nation's democracy.
They worked with local artists to create beautiful artwork, while learning in the process!
To talk about the project, which CBS 3 is proud to be a sponsor of, are Pearl Schaeffer, the executive director of the Philadelphia Arts in Education Partnership, and Ben Volta, one of the art mentors.
