Philadelphia Area Dining Event To Raise Money For Breast Cancer Research
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Eat at certain Philadelphia area restaurants; raise funds for breast cancer research.
That's the idea behind Dining Out for Breast Cancer, a three-night event happening on and around Philadelphia's Main Line from Oct. 15 – 17.
The event, which was created by Main Line Today and Alfredo BYO, works much like a restaurant week and in that participating restaurants offer three-course, prix fixe meals.
But in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, 5% of each restaurant's proceeds over the three days will benefit Main Line Health.
Participating restaurants include the likes of Peppercorn and Nectar on the Main Line, as well as Isabella in Conshohocken and the Water Works in Philadelphia.
