PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- As Philadelphia police await a ruling in her death from the medical examiner's office, the woman found dead inside the home of a prominent Philadelphia defense attorney over the Memorial Day weekend was being laid to rest.
Philadelphia police say the medical examiner's autopsy on the body of 26-year-old Julia Law found no injuries, and toxicology tests were being done (see related story). Investigators say it may be several more days before the results are available and a ruling is made in her death.
Meanwhile, the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Absecon, NJ, is the site for Law's funeral today. She was born in Somers Point, NJ and graduated from Holy Spirit High School in Absecon and Drexel University.
Her body was found by a maintenance worker last Saturday in the bathtub of the center city home of attorney Charles Peruto Jr., who described her as a paralegal and his girlfriend.
Law's family released a statement Wednesday saying that Julia had just gotten out of a long-term relationship, not with Peruto. The statement went on to say the family was troubled and offended by published statements attributed to people who claimed to know her.
Her family described her as "a hardworking recent college graduate who was a loving and gentle soul."
