EXCLUSIVE VIDEO: Driver Rescued From Partially Submerged Vehicle In Pottstown
POTTSTOWN, Pa., (CBS) – Crews rescued a driver trapped inside of a vehicle partially submerged in the Schuylkill River Monday night.
The incident was reported at about 10:15 p.m. at Industrial Highway and South Keim Street in Pottstown.
Officials say the man was pulled from the vehicle with a head injury.
The car went down a 20 foot embankment into the water. Initially, police believed black ice may have played a role in the accident.
After further investigation, police said Tuesday that speed and weather were not factors in the accident.
The accident remains under investigation.
