Person Struck, Killed By Car In North Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - A man was struck and killed by a vehicle in North Philadelphia, Monday morning. It happened at Broad Street and Erie Avenue, shortly before 6 a.m.
Police say a man in his 30's stepped out into traffic from the median when he was hit by a car traveling south on Broad Street.
The man was taken to Temple Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The intersection was closed while officials investigated.
The driver of the car remained at the scene.
