Teen Hospitalized After 3-Story Fall From Willow Grove Mall Parking Garage
WILLOW GROVE, Pa. (CBS) -- Eyewitness News has learned that a teenager has been hospitalized after a terrifying fall Wednesday evening.
According to police, the vicim, a 16-year-old Upper Moreland boy, fell from the top of a three-story outdoor parking structure at the Willow Grove Mall parking lot in Abington Township.
The boy was with his three friends when he allegedly began to "act oddly" and may have been hallucinating when the incident occured at about 8:30 p.m., police say.
According to reports, the boy suddenly exited the car he was sitting in and ran full speed before leaping off the deck.
He suffered serious injuries and remains in treatment at Abington Memorial Hospital.
The boy's identity has not been released and this incident remains under police investigation.
