People Piling On Quarantine Pounds As Snacking Rises In May, Survey Says
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Have you been feeling guilty about the extra pounds you've put on during the coronavirus pandemic? Well, you're not the only person who has gained a few.
People are piling on pandemic pounds, according to a survey by research firm FMCG. The survey says 50% of consumers say they snacked more in May.
That's up from 38% in April.
Consumers also admitted to buying more comfort food, including cakes, cookies and chips.
