Pennsylvania SPCA Rescues 17 Dogs From Shuttered Berks County Kennel
BERKS COUNTY, Pa. (CBS) -- Seventeen dogs are safe this evening thanks to the Pennsylvania SPCA. Humane officers returned to a property in Berks County where they rescued two dogs earlier this week.
The PSPCA says they saved the dogs from what used to be a licensed kennel, but the Bureau of Dog Law revoked the kennel's license.
The dogs are recovering and will hopefully find their forever homes soon.
Humane officers intend to file cruelty charges.
