Pennsylvania Representative Cherelle Parker Charged With DUI
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - A state representative from the Germantown-Mt. Airy section of the city is slated for a hearing on charges she was driving while drunk early last Sunday.
Pennsylvania state representative Cherelle Parker, 38, of the 200th legislative district was arrested and charged with drunk driving just after midnight.
Police allege an officer observed her driving the wrong way along the 5800 block of Baynton Street , which is a one way thoroughfare in Germantown. She's been scheduled for a June 1st court appearance.
The former aid to city councilwoman Marion Tasco was elected to the state house in a special election held in 2005.
