Pa. Health Officials Warn Of Another Possible Measles Exposure
HARRISBURG, Pa. (CBS) - Pennsylvania Health Department officials are advising the public of another case of possible measles exposure in the region.
This time, says state Health Department spokeswoman Christine Cronkright, the issue involves an international traveler who was in Philadelphia August 14th through the 17th.
"This individual on August 14th, in the evening, visited the Greyhound Bus Line station. Also, between August 14th and August 17th, they visited the Philadelphia historic district Holiday Inn. On the 15th, in the morning, and through the early afternoon visited the Ride The Ducks duck boat tour."
On August 16th, the man departed 30th Street Station for Lancaster aboard AMTRAK Keystone Line Train 643. He visited several locations in Lancaster before returning to 30th Street Station the next day and boarding AMTRAK Northeast Regional Train 171 to Manassas, Virginia. Anyone exposed during these dates and times could develop symptoms as late as Sept 7th.
