Penn With Tough Task Sunday At #7 Duke

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Penn Quakers sit at 6-7 on the season after Thursday night's loss at Davidson, which was their final game of the 2011 calendar year. They will open 2012 with a daunting task, a visit to Cameron Indoor Stadium and #7 Duke.
Penn's head coach Jerome Allen says the Blue Devils are every bit a top-ten team.
"You know they are going to come out and be fundamentally sound and be disciplined and play hard on defense and really share the ball. All the things that championship teams do."

The Blue Devils get it done with balance; five different players are averaging double figures this season and Allen says that makes them tough to guard.
"You can't necessarily key in on one player, but at the Division I level, I don't think, whether you are playing Duke, whether you are playing Marist or Pitt or Temple or any of the schools we've played thus far, you can't really key in on one player and expect to get a victory. I think all five guys have a responsibility and that responsibility is to guard the basketball."
Zack Rosen continues to pace the Quakers in scoring, pouring in 19.7 points a game while shooting 50% from the floor and 92% from the foul line.
Penn and Duke will tip-off at 5 p.m. on New Year's Day.
