PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Penn State Nittany Lions have won four straight games and they are coming off their bye week as they prepare to visit Iowa on Saturday.
Both the Nittany Lions and the Hawkeyes are 4-2 overall this season and 2-0 in the Big Ten.
Penn State's offense has played well as of late. The Nittany Lions averaging 33 points a game during their current win streak and a big reason for that success is senior quarterback Matt McGloin, who has thrown for 1,499 yards and 12 touchdowns with just two interceptions.
Kirk Ferentz has always had his team ready to play against the Nittany Lions. Ferentz is 8-3 in his career against Penn State as Iowa head coach.
