Penn Museum To Donate Saturday's Admissions To Typhoon Relief

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The University of Pennsylvania Museum is -- for the first time -- donating receipts from a day's admissions to a specific charity.
If you go on Saturday, November 30th, the museum will donate your admission fee to the American Red Cross for Typhoon Haiyan relief.
The University of Pennsylvania is best known for its impressive collection of Egyptian art, including mummies, and Visitor Services Supervisor Cynthia Whybark says the holiday weekend brings in more visitors as people look to walk off all that turkey, stuffing and pie they've enjoyed.
And in addition to Saturday, "Sunday is going to be our 'Peace Around the World' celebration, which is one of our most popular cultural days. And being that it is free admission, we'll be setting up donation boxes for people to give what they like," Whybark says.
Weekend hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
