Penn Looks To Bounce Back vs. Brown
By Matt Leon
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – After a 27-13 loss to Yale last weekend, their first in Ivy League action, the Penn Quakers hope to get back on track Saturday as they host Brown.
Penn is just 2-4 overall (2-1 in the Ivy) after the Yale loss and head coach Al Bagnoli says his team is trying to find its footing.
"That's the key of us trying to isolate, what do our kids feel good about, what are we consistent at and what can we execute from a week-in, week-out perspective?" Bagnoli tells KYW Newsradio. "To be honest with you, we've had to juggle so many things, we haven't had enough of those things that, we think, we feel we're good at. So whether it's your run defense, whether it's your run offense, or specific pass plays or specific coverages, we just have to be able to stabilize things and have to be able to have some reliance that we're going to be able to call this, week in and week out, and it's going to be effective."

Brown is 4-2 this season (1-2 in the Ivy League) and coming off a 21-14 win over Cornell. Bagnoli says they will bring an aggressive defense to town.
"They've played really hard on defense," Bagnoli says. "I believe they're leading the nation in the amount of negative plays they've incurred against opponents offenses. So they get after you pretty good.
"They are really a talented football team, play hard, do some good things schematically and just play with energy and enthusiasm."
On offense, Brown is middle of the pack in scoring offense in the Ivy League, putting up 21.7 points a game.
"They're very multiple," Bagnoli says. "Like to throw the ball. They've been a little bit besieged with injuries at the tailback position, so they've kind of changed from a power running game to a little bit more of an outside run game with a little bit different personality. But they've always been very multiple, throw a million different formations and motions at you and play really wide open."
Penn and Brown will kick-off at 1:00pm on Saturday at Franklin Field.
