Pedestrian Struck, Killed In Cheltenham Hit And Run
CHELTENHAM, Pa. (CBS) - Police in Montgomery Country are searching for the driver of a vehicle that struck and killed a pedestrian Thursday evening.
According to authorities, while attempting to cross Cheltenham Avenue near Easton Road in Cheltenham Township just after 8 p.m., a 53-year-old was struck by a white or gray Buick.
Police say the driver of the vehicle, which is believed to have suffered extensive front end damage in the accident, sped away from the scene and remains at large.
Police have not yet released the victim's identity.
