Pedestrian Killed Near Street Road In Bensalem
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A Bensalem woman was struck and killed while trying to cross the street.
The 59-year-old female pedestrian was struck at approximately 6:55 a.m. Saturday morning in the area of Street Road and Brookwood Drive.
Bensalem police report she was struck by Dodge Neon. The 65-year-old male driver immediately stopped at the scene. The driver is not believed to have been intoxicated at the time of the accident.
The woman is believed to have been homeless and was living out of her car.
No charges have been filed.
