PECO Launches ReLeaf Program Aimed At Expanding Region's Urban Tree Canopy
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- PECO is launching a new program called "ReLeaf." It's focused on expanding our region's urban tree canopy.
CBS3 was at the Navy Yard Tuesday morning where more than 1,500 trees were unloaded.
They'll be planted in Philadelphia and the surrounding suburbs.
PECO also presented a $200,000 check to the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society, doubling its annual support of the organization.
