Pair Of Dave Matthews Band Fans Have Once-In-A-Lifetime Encounter In Hershey

HERSHEY, Pa. (CBS) – A pair of Dave Matthews Band fans from Pennsylvania had an experience this past weekend that is simply hard to believe.
Emily Kraus and her boyfriend were en-route to see the band perform Saturday night at the Hersheypark Stadium in Hershey.
While driving down a back road at about 3:15 p.m., Kraus and her boyfriend noticed a bicyclist stranded on the side of the road with a flat back tire.
Kraus initially drove by the bicyclist, but she made a u-turn and went back to help the bicyclist. As they got closer to the individual, Kraus' boyfriend realized this wasn't just your typical stranded bicyclist.
It was in fact, Dave Matthews himself.
"I said 'Dave?' And he said 'hey guys I have a flat, can you give me a lift?'" Kraus told Chris Stigall of Talk Radio 1210 WPHT Monday.

Matthews went out for a bike ride and the bike got a flat tire and he was without a cell phone.
Kraus' boyfriend helped Matthews load his bike onto a bike rack on the back of Kraus' car and Matthews hopped into their car.
With Matthews in the backseat, Kraus drove the entertainer to the Hersheypark Stadium and pulled up to employee entrance and told security she had to drop someone off. A security guard recognized Matthews and allowed Kraus to enter the parking lot.
As Matthews was getting out of the car, he asked Kraus and her boyfriend for their cell phone numbers.
A short time later, while Kraus and her boyfriend were tailgating for the concert, Kraus received a call on her cell phone. It was a representative from the Dave Matthews Band and they invited the couple backstage.
Kraus said they had an amazing dinner, saw Matthews again and took pictures with him. The couple ended up sitting in the front row and their day become even more unbelievable when Matthews told the crowd of his biking adventure and even mentioned the couple's names on stage.
It is a day Kraus says she will never soon forget.
"I'm still pinching myself trying to say 'o is this real?'"
