PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Philadelphia Eagles will begin the 2024 regular season tonight against the Green Bay Packers in São Paulo, Brazil

The Eagles ended the 2023 season in disastrous fashion and lost six of their final seven games. The collapse prompted changes to the coaching staff. We'll get our first actual look at Kellen Moore's offense and Vic Fangio's defense vs. Green Bay with all the team's starters tonight, along with several other storylines.

Here's how to watch Eagles-Packers and what else you need to know.

How to watch Eagles-Packers

The Eagles-Packers Week 1 game in Brazil will be the first NFL game to be played in South America and will be streamed exclusively on Peacock.

But don't worry, if you live in the Philadelphia region, you won't need a Peacock subscription to watch the Birds. As long as you live in the Delaware Valley, the game will air on NBC10, which kicks off at 8:15 p.m.

If you made the trip to Brazil as an Eagles fan but aren't going to Arena Corinthians to watch the game, it will be on CazéTV, which will stream across YouTube, Amazon Prime, Twice and Samsung TV Plus. The game will also be on RedeTV and ESPN Brazil.

Fans from outside the local Philadelphia market can also stream the game through NFL+ if you don't have a Peacock subscription.

Storylines to watch

Tonight will be the first time we see Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts, new running back Saquon Barkley and other skill position players A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith in Moore's offense. Hurts, Barkley, Brown and Smith didn't play in the preseason.

Philadelphia's offense took a step back in 2023, especially during the end of the season, and became stale and predictable. Moore will try to change that in 2024 and add some more creativity with motion and other ways to get Philadelphia's weapons the ball in space.

It will also be the first game without future Hall of Famer Jason Kelce after he retired. The Eagles have been preparing for this moment for years and hope Cam Jurgens is the guy who can take the reigns. All eyes will be on the Eagles' offensive line in São Paulo for the first game of the post-Kelce era.

On the other side of the ball, Fangio's defense will have an early test against quarterback Jordan Love, who emerged last season and landed a massive contract, and the rest of Green Bay's offense. The Packers upset the Dallas Cowboys in the wild card round of the playoffs last season and nearly took down the San Francisco 49ers in the divisional round.

A key to slowing down Love will be the former Georiga Bulldogs -- Jordan Davis and Jalen Carter -- especially after Fletcher Cox, another Eagles great, joined Kelce retirement.

Eagles-Packers betting odds

The Eagles-Packers betting line has moved since it opened. The Birds opened as 1.5-point favorites on some sportsbooks, but that number has jumped since.

On FanDuel Sportsbook, the Eagles are 2.5-point favorites and over/under is 48.5. The Eagles are -152 on the money line.

Eagles watch party at Lincoln Financial Field

Despite the Birds flying south to Brazil, Eagles fans are heading to Lincoln Financial Field to watch the season opener tonight.

The Eagles are hosting a watch party at the Linc and it's sold out, according to the team. Doors will open at the Linc for the watch party at 6 p.m.

Eagles debuting new uniform

When the Eagles hit the field in Brazil, they'll have a new uniform combination against the Packers.

The Birds will wear white jerseys with black pants, white socks and black helmets.

The Eagles' uniform mirrors the colors of Corinthians Paulista, a Brazilian professional soccer team that plays at Arena Corinthians.

The Packers will be wearing their green jerseys with yellow pants against the Eagles. The color green is worn by Palmeiras, the most hated rival of the Corinthians.

Brazil beefs up security

After some players, including Eagles cornerback Darius Slay, voiced concerns about playing in Brazil São Paulo state's government said it will beef up security.

São Paulo state's government said it will deploy hundreds of police officers and provide escorts for team buses for Friday's Eagles-Packers game.

Gun violence and crime rates in Brazil are among the highest in Latin America. Metropolitan São Paulo has also faced a wave of cellphone thefts.

Eagles injury report

The Eagles will be without two players on defense against the Packers.

Cornerback Isaiah Rodgers and linebacker Devin White were both ruled out. Rodgers is dealing with a hand injury and White has an ankle injury.

With Rodgers sidelined, Eagles rookie cornerback Quinyon Mitchell is set to start alongside Darius Slay.
