PA Turnpike: Drivers Should Call 911 For Help, Phones Are Down
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission is advising drivers to call 911 if they see or experience a crash, or any other emergency situation because a glitch has blocked their phone lines.
Technicians are currently working to remedy the issue.
The Turnpike says police patrols are out in full force patrolling the roadway and communicating to dispatchers.
There is no ETA for restoration of the *11 service.
