Pa. State Police: 13 Dead, 247 Injured In Memorial Day Weekend Crashes
HARRISBURG, Pa. (CBS) – Pa. State Police say they responded to 718 crashes in Pennsylvania over the Memorial Day weekend.
Of those accidents, 13 people died and 247 were injured. Sixty-two crashes were alcohol-related.
Police also made 451 arrests and issued 13,619 speeding tickets.
According to police, the numbers are slightly up from last year, when five people died and 709 crashes were reported.
