Pa. Police Probing If Car Fire Caused By Mobile Meth Lab
SHAVERTOWN, Pa. (AP) — State police are investigating a car fire that closed a stretch of road in northeastern Pennsylvania are as a possible mobile meth lab.
Kingston Township police Chief Jim Balavage said the fire broke out inside the moving car at around 10 a.m. Thursday.
Balavage said the man and woman trapped in the car, and a passerby who helped free them, all were taken to a hospital with what appeared to be chemical burns.
The state police Clandestine Lab Response Team was summoned from Harrisburg because police said there was a concern about the safety of emergency responders.
