PA Democrats Rally Behind Katie McGinty In South Philly
SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Pennsylvania race for the US Senate is fast becoming one of the most expensive in the country. And today, Democratic challenger Katie McGinty kicked off her campaign in South Philadelphia.
"This room right here, will elect Katie McGinty as the next United States Senator," said Congressman Bob Brady rallying ward, union and elected political leaders at the Sheet Metal Workers Union Hall in South Philadelphia Tuesday.

Katie McGinty spent months trailing in the polls against Republican incumbent Pat Toomey, but in recent weeks, has gained a slight advantage. Senator Bob Casey, said a McGinty win would be historic.
McGinty challenged Toomey's record on tax credits and education, as well as his failure to take a stand on presidential Nominee Donald Trump.
"Are you for Donald Trump or Not," she asked.

She shook hands and gave hugs, telling supporters their work could save the soul of the middle class.
"Join me in sending pat packing, are you ready to dump trump!"
