Overnight Shooting In Delaware Leaves One Person In Critical Condition
WILMINGTON, Del. (CBS) – A woman was shot and injured in Delaware early Saturday morning.
Police were in the area of Vandever Avenue and Church Street just after midnight when they heard shots fired. They searched the area but were unable to find the victim.
However, a short while later, a shooting victim was admitted to Wilmington Hospital with two gunshot wounds. Due to the seriousness of the injuries, the victim was transported to Christiana Hospital and is currently listed in critical condition.
An investigation is underway and charges are pending.
There is no further information on the incident at this time.
