Out With The Old Eagles Merchandise, In With The New, in South Philadelphia

By Paul Kurtz

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Eagles' free-agent frenzy has led to a reshuffling in team merchandise.

Today at Lincoln Financial Field, a sales associate at the Eagles Pro Shop was steam-pressing the name "Murray" and the number "29" on a midnight green jersey.

And there were many more to come as Eagles fans get acquainted with a new stable of free agent pickups.

Running back DeMarco Murray, of course, is the big prize, according to Pro Shop manager Annie Bobbe.

"We got requests right out of the gate," she tells KYW Newsradio.  "We were getting requests before it was even final, but we couldn't start pressing anything until it was released to the public.  But we've already been busy doing that today, and the locations have been taking requests."

"Turnaround time, potentially, will be one to two weeks for us to get them here in the stores," says Bobbe.

Fans can also order online at philadelphiaeagles.com.

And as the new merchandise comes in, the old stuff will be heading for the discount bins. That would include the racks of suddenly unpopular "McCoy" and "Foles" jerseys.

"Right now we have them marked down," Bobbe says.  "You can get them for a very reasonable price."
