OCEAN CITY, N.J. (CBS) -- Meteorologist Kathy Orr broadcasts live from the Ocean City Boardwalk at 9th Street on Thursday as part of CBS 3's fundraising for Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation.
Kathy meets with the Staino family, an ambassador family to the Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation.
This year marks the 8th annual Alex Scott Phone Bank stretching from the CBS 3 studios in Philadelphia all the way down the shore.
Dan Doolin, owner of Rita's Water Ice, explains why the foundation is so important.
