One Man In Stable Condition After South Philadelphia Bar Fight

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - A fight outside a South Philadelphia bar early Saturday morning ends with one man in the hospital and another in jail. The injured man is in stable condition.
Police say shortly before 2:00 a.m., a 45-year-old man confronted a 36-year-old man about an ongoing dispute outside Cookies Tavern at 10th and Oregon.
Officials say there was a physical altercation and several other men jumped in, beating the 45-year-old.
Police say the man was on the ground and was kicked and punched by the men; suffering lacerations to his head, face and body.
He was robbed of his 9mm handgun and Smartphone during the incident.
The 36-year-old man was taken into custody without incident.
Police are not releasing the identities of those involved.
