Elderly Man Killed In Delaware County House Fire
RADNOR, Pa. (CBS) - Police in Radnor Township, Delaware County say an elderly man was killed in a one-alarm townhouse fire around 1 a.m. Monday morning.
The scene of the fire was a condominium townhouse at the Waynesboro Village Condominiums located at Bloomingdale and West Wayne Avenue.
The fire was discovered by a neighbor who called 9-1-1 and reported smoke in her house. Police say the fire was quickly extinguished and contained to the one townhouse.
The deceased victim was found on the first floor. An autopsy on the victim will be scheduled for later in the day.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
