Officials: Baby Transported From Atlantic City Casino To CHOP In Critical Condition
ATLANTIC CITY (CBS) – Authorities are investigating the circumstances after an infant had to be transported from an Atlantic City casino to the hospital Monday evening.
Atlantic City Police and EMS responded to the Bally's Atlantic Hotel and Casino around 7:30 p.m. for a report of a baby having difficulty breathing.
Authorities say the two-month-old child was airlifted to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia in critical condition.
The incident is under investigation by the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office, the Atlantic City Police Department, and the State Division of Protection and Permanency.
No word on the baby or parents' identities.
