Officer Injured In 2-Car Crash In Hunting Park

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A Philadelphia police officer and a civilian were injured in a two-car crash early Tuesday morning.
The accident happened at about 7:30 a.m. near the intersection of 3 in the city's Hunting Park section.
According to investigators, a Philadelphia police cruiser and a green minivan collided.
The officer driving the cruiser complained of neck and shoulder pain and was taken to Temple University Hospital. He is undergoing evaluation and is listed in good condition.
The driver of the minivan was also taken to Temple Hospital to be checked out.
The exact cause of the crash remains under investigation.
