Oddsmakers Say Eagles Will Actually Win Home Games
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The Eagles are keepers of a well-publicized ten game losing streak at Lincoln Financial Field. It's been over a calendar year since the Eagles won a home game. Oddsmakers say that's likely to change.
The online sportsbook Bovada says that the over/under for Eagles home wins for the rest of the year is 2.5 games. The Eagles have four home games remaining, this Sunday against Washington, and games against the Lions, Cardinals and Bears.
The number 2.5 is also the subject of another over/under at Bovada, touchdown passes from Nick Foles on Sunday against Washington. Foles has thrown 16 touchdown passes without an interception this season.
Eagles Super Bowl odds got shorter again this week, moving to 33/1, tying a season low. Just a month ago, the Eagles odds to win the Super Bowl were 100/1. The Broncos remain the favorite to win it all this season at 10/3, followed by the Seahawks at 4/1.
