Nova Stays In Top 10, Temple Back In Top 25
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Two city schools are represented in this week's Associated Press college basketball Top 25 poll.
Villanova holds serve at #8, the Wildcats are 10-1 this season and coming off that 40-point win over Monmouth on Wednesday.
Fran Dunphy's Temple Owls have moved back into the top 25 after winning their lone game last week over Ohio 76-65. The Owls are now 9-2 and ranked 25th in the country.
The undefeated Duke Blue Devils (11-0) was the unanimous choice for number one.
Temple and Villanova will meet Thursday night at The Pavillion. Temple won their last meeting on Dec 13, 2009 75-65 at The Liacouras Center.
