Not Everyone Excited About 'Made In America' This Weekend

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Jay-Z's third annual "Made in America" Labor Day Weekend concert on the Ben Franklin Parkway takes place this weekend, but not everyone is thrilled about the event.
Councilman at-large Bill Greenlee says the biggest complaints he's received from neighbors has to do with noise:
"Certainly, the people who live right near here, I understand their concern. It's an impact, there's no doubt about that."
(Reporter) "And is it going to be better this year for them?"
"Well, I guess we'll see is the answer," Greenlee says. "I don't know how they can make a concert that is trying to project as far as they're doing, that you're not gonna hear it."

Greenlee says each year, he fields complaints as to why the city would allow a commercial concert in a residential neighborhood:
"I think they want to show off the center of the city. The vista of Center City and the Art Museum, I know there are people who have pushed and will continue to push to have it down in one of the stadiums."
On the upside, Greenlee says the concert brings national attention to Philadelphia, not to mention money:
"All the money that comes in goes into the general fund so it's spread out among the various entities that need it -- from recreation to streets to L&I to police or whatever."
Greenlee adds the future of "Made In America" is not decided beyond this year.
