Northeast Philadelphia Man Admits To Sexual Contact With Teen Girls

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - A former volunteer youth soccer coach from Mayfair in the Northeast has admitted trolling the internet for young girls for sex. Sentencing is scheduled for September.

All the victims, 14 to 16-years-old, were strangers the 34-year-old defendant met online.

Defendant Vincent Mickle, posing as a teen, has admitted having contact with six teens that generally started on Facebook and MySpace. He exchanged texts and emails, and met with several of the girls.

"A lot of it was to furnish them with alcohol, obviously in a grooming type behavior to get them comfortable with it. A lot of the girls, a lot of the victims were not easily persuaded by that, but obviously there were some he did have a sexual relationship with," Prosecutor Michael Stackow said.

Mickle is not charged with any crimes involving the children he coached.
