North Jersey Beach Towns Say No To 'Jersey Shore' Spinoff
POINT PLEASANT BEACH, NJ (CBS/AP) – One northern New Jersey shore town has said no to "Snooki & JWoww."
Point Pleasant's Beach Council unanimously voted against a request to tape episodes of the show, a spinoff of MTV's "Jersey Shore" featuring Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi and Jennifer "JWoww" Farley, even though the cast would be living outside the town.
This summer has been one of controversy for Point Pleasant. Officials have tried to impose a midnight bar closing, and new parking restrictions have been implemented.
According to AP reports, Toms River, a nearby shore town, also turned down the reality series.
