By Justin Drabick
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Nor'easter will continue to intensify off the east coast and track northward tonight.
Many advisories and warnings remain in effect throughout the Delaware Valley.
- A BLIZZARD WARNING is in effect for Ocean and Monmouth counties
- A WINTER STORM WARNING is in effect for West Central and Southern NJ, Philadelphia Co, Montgomery Co, Bucks Co, Delaware Co, Carbon Co, and Monroe Co
-A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY is in effect for all of Delaware, Chester Co, Lancaster Co, Berks Co, and Schuylkill Co
- A COASTAL FLOOD WARNING is in effect for coastal NJ and Delaware
As the storm intensifies, a heavy band of snow continues to push westward. How far west the band moves will depend on the exact track. Most of the recent model guidance indicates lower snowfall amounts with the heaviest snow staying off the coast.
Here is the latest snow forecast...
Areas to the east of Philly will see the most snow. The heaviest snow will occur overnight with snowfall rates of 1" per hour possible with gusty northerly winds over 30 mph causing blowing and drifting snow. The snow will then taper off during the morning hours on Tuesday.
