No Mega Millions Winner, Jackpot Reaches $1.6 Billion

PHILADELPHIA (CBS/AP) — With dreams of winning big, people are going nuts over the Mega Millions jackpot that continues to grow.
Nobody hit the jackpot in Friday evening's jackpot and the Mega Millions stands at $1.6 billion.
Many customers were feeling lucky in a Bucks County store that sold a $1.7 million Match 6 a few weeks ago.
"I bought two tickets, one for tonight and one for Tuesday," said Maria Mincino.
The Powerball drawing Saturday night is worth $470 million and the Mega Millions jackpot soared past a record-setting $1.6 billion.
"That's why I decided to play, I'm feeling lucky," said Mincino.
The Mega Millions has prize has grown so large because no one has hit the jackpot since July.
It's the largest Mega Millions prize ever and largest lottery prize in the United States behind the 2016 $1.5 billion Powerball.
Blask a Croydon Convenience Store on State Road in Bucks County is drawing long lines after a Croydon man won $1.7 million, from a Match 6 lottery ticket purchased a few weeks ago.
"We were happy. We were very glad to see him," said store owner Diapam Patel.
The owner of the shop for $10,000 for that winning ticket.
The Powerball drawing will be Saturday night at 11.
Winning Numbers Drawn For $1 Billion Mega Millions Jackpot
The winning numbers from Friday's Mega Millions jackpot were: 15, 23, 53, 65 and 70.
And the Megaball is 7.

The next drawing will be Tuesday.
With the jackpot currently tied with the record-setting lottery jackpot and bound to grow before the next drawing, it is bound to become the largest prize in U.S. history.
