Asomugha Carted Off Field At Eagles Practice
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - More bad injury news for the Eagles. Cornerback Nmandi Asomugha had to be carted off the practice field Thanksgiving morning after suffering a left knee injury. No word as of yet on the severity.
Eagles secondary already down a man, as cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie is sidelined with an ankle problem.
Michael Vick did not practice again. The quarterback continues to be bothered by those broken ribs. Of course, Vick did not play last weekend in the win over the New York Giants. Should he not be able to go on Sunday against the visiting New England Patriots, Vince Young would make a second consecutive start.
WR DeSean Jackson did return to practice on a limited basis on Thursday (foot), but wide receiver Jeremy Maclin (shoulder and hamstring) sat out. Maclin had practiced in a limited fashion on Wednesday.
