NJ Transit Offers Extra Service, Savings During July 4th Holiday
NEWARK, N.J. (AP) — NJ Transit is offering extra service and savings for travelers throughout the July Fourth holiday.
The Family Super Saver Fare will be in effect from 7 p.m. Friday until 6 a.m. July 8 on all buses, light rail and trains except travel to and from Metro-North Stations. The fare allows up to two children 11 and younger to travel free with each fare-paying adult.
Extra buses will operate from the Port Authority Bus Terminal and the Hudson River waterfront on more than a dozen routes starting around 2 p.m. Friday.
