NJ Teen Charged With Killing Sister's Boyfriend
JERSEY CITY, N.J. (AP) — A Jersey City teenager has been charged with murder in the fatal shooting of his sister's boyfriend.
Hudson County Acting Prosecutor Gaetano Gregory said the teen also was charged with firearms offenses.
Gregory said the shooting occurred at about 1:40 a.m. Sunday. Officers responding to a report of shots fired arrived at the residence to find 24-year-old Nigee Paige with a gunshot wound to his torso. He was later pronounced dead at Jersey City Medical Center.
Police believe Paige was involved in a physical altercation with his girlfriend in the hallway of the residence when the 17-year-old ran downstairs and shot Paige.
